Addictions

Speaking addiction,
  • We all humans easily fall for addiction. In fact everyone is addicted to something, But the matter is in which you're addicted.
  • If the addiction is pulling you back, then you must overcome it !
Categories,
Addiction is so many but basically I divided it into two categories (almost covers every addiction)

1. Pressure Vs Pleasure
People out there in pain like work pressure, depression, loneliness, anger, etc., just wanted to skip that pressure tend to a pleasure (like drugs, alcoholism, watching videos, etc.,). They all want is to escape from reality but the nature gives that pressure inorder to shape us. Coming to the point, that pleasure leads to an addicton cycle. So many adults experience these kind of addiction.

2. Jolly Pleasure (Experimental addiction)
In this category peoples get inspired from some guys around them and self trying some habits and falls for it. And they simply say that "it makes me happy" or "I do this cz its dope" . These kind of addiction is seen mostly in young ones.

After these addiction things, all that left is,
Guilty!
Guilty!
Guilty!
If you have any addiction I think its been categorised in these 2 types above.

Overcoming ADDICTION,

I would like to share a story which I've seen it in a documentary and it is very useful for me,
The Elephant and the rope
A Tourist who was travelling through Thailand was passing some elephants. And he suddenly stopped because he was confused by some fact that these huge creatures was being held by only a small rope tied to their single leg. No chains or cages. It was obvious that the elephants could break away from that rope at any time but for some reason they did not. He saw a trainer nearby and asked him why these animal just stood there and made no attempts to get away. The trainer said "well, when they are very younger and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, its enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believed the Rope can still hold them so they never try to break free"
The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but they believe that they couldn't, they were struck right where they were.
When you see in our life like the story, we are tied as like as those elephants by addiction. We should take a step to overcome it,
If you believe you couldn't then you couldn't.
If you believe you could then you could overcome addiction easily.
I hope this story is very useful,
Now I would like to share some tips to take a step overcoming addiction.

Tips,

1. Self-respect
If you have self-respect and beleive in yourself that you'll overcome the thing that is holding you back , its easy.
And you must realise the Love of the people around yourself, may be your family or friends. They love you.
2. Spiritual growth
If you have spiritual growth in you like meditation, prayer, etc., in your own style you shall overcome addiction easily.
You have 24 hours a day, spend 1 hour for finding yourself spiritually. (Grow good habits)

But once again I say friend, If you take a step first believing in yourself ,you shall overcome anything that is holding you back!

At last I'd like to to share a Quote by King Solomon
"Meaningless meaningless everything is meaningless."
"மாயை மாயை எல்லாம் மாயை."

Let's be addiction free and achieve our goals.
